1. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with TruFoam, we may collect:
- your name, mobile phone number, email address, city or postal code;
- requested service, room and stair counts, preferred timing, access details, carpet concerns, and other notes you submit;
- your preferred contact method, referral source, and optional promotional-SMS choice;
- communications with TruFoam and records related to appointments, services, purchases, or support; and
- limited technical information supplied by our website host or form systems, such as date and time, requested page, browser information, and an IP address or masked IP address.
Please do not submit sensitive medical, financial, government-identity, or account-password information through an appointment form.
2. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and determine whether a requested service or offer is a suitable fit.
- Prepare estimates and schedule, confirm, remind, update, or support appointments.
- Deliver services, process or document transactions, and maintain customer and business records.
- Protect our website and forms, detect misuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve operations.
- Comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, safety, and dispute-resolution obligations.
- Send occasional promotional texts only when you provide a separate optional opt-in.
3. Calls and text messages
When you submit a service or offer request with a mobile number, TruFoam may call or text about that request, eligibility, scheduling, confirmations, reminders, service changes, and customer support. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
Promotional text messages require a separate, optional consent. Promotional consent is not a condition of service, an offer, or a purchase. Reply STOP to stop further texts and HELP for help. Additional terms appear in our SMS Terms.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
4. When information may be shared
We may disclose only the information reasonably needed to:
- website hosting, form, email, telephone, SMS, payment-processing, scheduling, storage, or support providers that help us operate;
- contractors or service providers involved in a service you request, when applicable;
- government authorities, courts, insurers, advisers, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or prevent fraud; or
- a successor organization if TruFoam is involved in a business reorganization, subject to applicable law.
Service providers may use information only for the service they provide to TruFoam or as otherwise permitted by law. TruFoam does not sell personal information.
5. Linked services and Square checkout
The website may link to services operated by other companies, including Square for Home Systems checkout. Information you enter directly on another company's website is handled under that company's privacy policy and terms. TruFoam may receive transaction details or contact information needed to fulfill and support the purchase.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to requests, provide service and support, maintain transaction and business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or insurance obligations. Different records may have different retention periods.
7. Security
TruFoam uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the information it controls. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us promptly if you believe information submitted to TruFoam has been misused.
8. Your choices
- Do not select the optional promotional-SMS box if you do not want marketing texts.
- Reply STOP to stop further text messages. Opting out of texts does not itself cancel an appointment.
- Contact us to correct contact information or ask a privacy question.
- You may ask us to delete information, subject to records we must or are permitted to retain.
9. Children's privacy
TruFoam's website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from them through our service forms.
10. Policy changes
We may update this policy as our services, forms, vendors, or legal obligations change. The date at the top identifies the latest published version.
